Freedom Financial Network

Upon graduating from Stanford Business School, Stroh led his first start-up by co-founding the Freedom Financial Network with his close friend and business partner Andrew Housser. From the very beginning Stroh and Housser intertwined their shared philosophies into the company which created a culture that put both clients and employees first, working to create a collaborative and team-oriented organization that valued clients and team-work above all else. To put it in his own words, he was once quoted in the press as saying, “If we take care of our employees, our employees will take care of our clients and the rest will take care of itself.”

Freedom Financial Network has grown to become a leader in specialty finance and now consists of Freedom Tax Relief, Freedom Debt Relief, Freedom Plus, Golden Road Financial and related finance business units.

Freedom has serviced hundreds of thousands of customers across several consumer financial services verticals, including mortgage lending, IRS tax advisory and resolution services, debt resolution, and direct lending. Freedom has been rated as one of the five best places to work in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times and one of the best places to work in the Phoenix Area according to the Phoenix Business Journal. Both prestigious recognitions have been awarded to Freedom several years running.

Freedom has also been named to the Inc500 multiple years, to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Hot 100 list, and Stroh was named one of the most influential “40 under 40” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. He and his co-founder were both named finalists and winners in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Stroh worked hard to create a close family-like atmosphere with the employees of Freedom Financial Network. He helped organize and conduct community assistance projects and provided staff with the same thought and attention that was extended to the company’s dedicated client base.
